Customer used de-watering pumps with 100' cables leading to very cumbersome and time-consuming processes. Requirements: way of disconnecting the cable from the pump with a coupler performing well under 30' of water and at temperatures as low as -45 degree Celsius. Solution: Coupler with features to incorporate better sealing against increased external pressures as well as new gasket material to reduce gasket compression and migration.
